Day at the Park 2

Another beautiful day at the park. The kids were having so much fun being outside. Mommy even got in on some of the action. I think I tuckered them on a few occasions. That's amazing!

Spring Break in KC

I decided to pack the kids up and head to my brother's house in KC. It was so nice to get out of the house for a change and see some fresh faces. The kids had a lot of fun with their cousin, Blake (who is getting so big!). I had so much fun talking to adults-during the day, even! The weather was awesome so our first day there, we headed to the park.

Spring is finally in the air and we are outside. I love it!

Gorillas in the mist

We went to the zoo today because Maddox had off. He says he never gets to do the fun stuff now that he is in school (he has a rough life...yeah, right!), so we planned something fun. And we had fun. I enjoyed watching them interact with the gorillas. That was fun!

The Ava Dress

I finished another dress yesterday and tried to photograph it this morning.
Oh sun. Come out, come out, wherever you are...

I named it the Ava Dress because it is the first dress I ever made for my sweet Ava...or ever, for that matter.


She is pretty stinkin' cute, though. I probably could make horribly ugly dresses and she'd still do them justice!
I may try again tomorrow and then post it in the shop.

Sun and the Zoo

The sun was shining, and we had a day of nothing planned...so we went to the zoo! It was wonderful to be able to go outside again. I was beginning to forget what outside was like!

We even had some visitors while we were there! I think Christian especially liked the pengiuns.

My kids are too tall for the penguin chart! WHAT? Craziness. I will have to go back and gather all our past penguin shots.

Christian had to join in on the fun.

Blurry? Nope. It was a bit steamy in the jungle...

The tigers were having a training session. That was fun to watch. Those guys are BIG and beautiful.



On another note: If you haven't noticed, I'm a little behind on my posts...Okay, little is maybe the wrong word. But I'm going to be getting caught up hopefully, so look for that. Also, you may have noticed the Unfinished Mexico slideshow to the right. Well, it is just that, unfinished, so continue looking for more photos there as well.
