Snow-long awaited!

We have been waiting for snow for a long time. We went all the way to Colorado for Christmas and still didn't see any. Well, we finally got it, and what a perfect snow it is! I won't go on about how disappointed we were not to have a snow day, but that was a bummer. Kade got to go out in the snow at grandma's while I went to the doctor in the morning. I don't have any pics from that.

We headed out as soon as the big kids got home from school. They were pumped. Kade got a new sled for Christmas, so he was very anxious to use it. I told the kids to go curl up by the fire to warm up and the result was priceless. I love these kids!

We had a white Christmas this year, and we had to get out and enjoy it.

Craft Retreats and adventures

I got to go on a craft retreat this weekend. How fun is that? Well, it was so much fun. A much needed break. I get breaks from time to time, but there's nothing like spending several days with girls. Very rejuvenating.

While I was away, the kids had so much fun with daddy. They got to have dinner and a movie both nights. That was a big one. They also went on an adventure again. Here is a peak at their day.
