I love our tradition of having a day out with mom before school starts. I started this when Maddox first went to Kindergarten. It seems, as intentional as I try to be, I don't have many opportunities to spend time with each kid individually. I look forward to it just as much as the kids do, which is fun.
Today was Maddox's day. We did a little school shopping, at lunch at Red Robin, did a little more school shopping, hung out at the book store (Maddox's request!) and headed home after a long day. I may have worn him out a bit, but I think he had fun. I know I did!
