Some Fruits of the Harvest

These are some of the things that kept me busy this summer. I was meaning to make this a post of all that I did, but of course, I never got around to it. I  canned salsa, pizza sauce, spaghetti sauce, tomatoes, applesauce, apple butter, 4 kinds of jam, hot peppers, froze peaches, green beans, corn and chicken. I think that's all. Yup, I was busy, but our freezer and pantry are full!

Soccer mom...and I LOVE it!

Yes, we are still alive. It has been crazy around here for, well, for as long as I can remember at this point. I am behind on a lot of stuff, especially blogging. One of these days I will get caught up on blogging our summer. I will. But for now, I am going to have to take it one day at a time. The kiddos had their first soccer games on Saturday. It was so much fun to watch them. Ava's team was hilariously clueless and Maddox's team was surprisingly improved. We shall see how the rest of the season unfolds.
