Frog Wars

I know you all want to see pictures of the wedding...they're coming...but his will have to do for now. Maddox discovered frogs this last weekend. He finds one and carries it everywhere. We won't talk about his separation anxiety when he has to put them back. Here's a classic pose.

The best Mother's Day

I had quite a Mother's Day this year. Brent really outdid himself. What an amazing husband I have! First, I woke up to breakfast in bed. Then, after church, my friend, Staci and I went out to lunch. She was in town for the weekend and I was taking her back to the airport. After a nice visit with her, I was off to shopping for the rest of the afternoon. Yes, it seemed very unusual, but nice! After tiring of shopping (yes, it's possible), I headed home, only to be greeted by four smiling faces. Brent and the kids then took me out to the porch where there were lots of flowers waiting for me. The kids had picked out some flowers and planted a pot for me! Then I was informed that Maddox had ordered me something that was still in the mail (yet to find out what that is...). We then loaded up in the car and headed to Grandma's house. Thank you, Jessica, for making us all dinner! What a day. And to top it off, look at these smiling little faces!

Little Green-thumbs

Grandma Sawyer sent the kids a little Veggietales greenhouse kit. Here we are planting our seeds. I hope there will be more pictures in the future (meaning: I hope the seeds grow, so I can show you!).

Park Day with Daddy

Saturday we decided to take daddy to the park. We were going to have a picnic too, but we feared it might rain, so we just played.

Kade peeking out of the tube. (yes, this is becoming a favored picture opt!)

Daddy had to try too!

Brent and Ava enjoying a swing together!

Parks and Dress-up

This ones cracks me up. Ava decided that she needed to put all of her dress-up clothes on at once. Maddox helped her of course!

Maddox swinging at the park.

Kade was acting especially tired at the park this day. Needless to say, he didn't make it through his lunch!

Our little Cubbie Bear

Many of you know, Maddox has been been attending Cubbies this year and loving it. We all went to the closing ceremonies this last Wednesday night to watch Maddox get his certificate for completing his first book!

The 'Fish' Park

The park that we usually go to added a new play area. Ava has coined it the "fish park." It has a great rubber floor and lots of fun things for all of the kids to enjoy! Hope you don't get tired of the pictures, because there are many to come of our play at the park. We went 4 times during the first week open!

Swingin' into spring

Heidi's graduation-a final farewell

I finally painted my swing that I got for Christmas. We had fun enjoying our front porch for once! A nice addition to an otherwise bare space.

Brent snapped this photo of Kade with his face to Bella's butt!!

He just couldn't get enough of her today.
