It was a blustery, Kansas day, but we made it to the park anyway with my friend Elizabeth and her two little ones.

Goodbye, farewell

Yesterday the kids said goodbye to their babysitter of the past two years. Heidi is graduating on Sunday from Hesston College and leaving us to go back home in Iowa. We will miss her very much.

Breathing Treatments:Round II

Many of you may know, Kade had RSV this last winter and had to do an extensive round of breathing treatments. Well he developed a cough the other day that was not headed down a good path, so we started them again. Here the kids are helping. He is doing much better now, by the way. Seems we caught it just in time!

We were able to each lunch outside the other day. Unfortunately, it has been rainy every since.

Ava and Maddox had fun 'painting' pictures this morning. Now it's all they want to do.

Play dough fun

We played with play dough this morning. As you can see, we are still in our PJ's. Don't worry, we did finally get dressed. Why is it that kids are fascinated with eating the stuff?

We had a busy week of birthdays this week. Cousin Phineas turned two on Monday, Grandpa Tim turned...well, I'll let him fill you in, on Thursday; and today is Uncle Caleb's 31st birthday. Happy Birthday everyone! PS. Maddox wants to come eat your cake!

Odds and Ends

This last weekend we went to the MCC Relief Sale in Hutch. This was one of the many attractions...The kids had fun on the big slide with daddy and grandpa.

Let's play dress-up

Ava was forced to give up her pacifier last week. As a treat for doing so she received a box of dress-up clothes. Of course, Maddox wanted some too.
